Positive Wednesday

Yesterday we got to have a positive Wednesday lunch with Jeannett. Lori, Cintia & I met her at Applebee's for Jeannett's first lunch outing since the girls were born. I thought it was a good time since Mary Kay was here & could take care of the girls while she joined us. It was so good to see her...and she looks great! She's already lost so much of her weight and is adorable! I wonder how she has such cute kids?? Of course, we talked about all the normal things...office people, the birth, nursing, my son's impending wedding, office people, you know...the positive Wednesday stuff :) Did I say in my last post that my son is getting MARRIED!!!

Today is Thurs., which is actually my Friday at work, thank GOD! I am so ready to be gone from this place! Maybe I can help Jeannett tomorrow with the kids :)

On Saturday, Erika, Pam & I are going wedding location shopping, if there is such a thing. I can't wait! I'm sure we will somehow find a way to shop in SLO also...just cuz it's us and that's what we do :)

That's all for now.

my beginnings

Since the rest of the world blogs, I felt the need for an outlet and an easier way to communicate with more people at the same time, so I thought I would try this. Hopefully I won't offend anyone along the way;)

We got VERY exciting news this weekend that our son, Adam, and his girlfriend of 4 years, Erika, are engaged. YAY! I am excited to have a wedding to look forward to...to assist with where I can, to give insight on and to just participate in! We are all very excited to welcome Erika into our family!

Bella (our 6 month old rottweiller) & Rylee (their 10 month old mix of ranch dogs) had a funfilled weekend playing together while we babysat Rylee while her mom & dad were getting engaged. They were so good and had a great time! Yes, we have lots of grand pets!

I hope to be going to visit Aron & Chris this weekend, but we are still not sure, due to the fact it's opening weekend of hunting season. We need to get the boys to commit...or not...so we can make plans!

Ron's sister and family arrived home safely back in Chicago area after a great visit here in California. We enjoyed having their teenagers stay with us...it was just like when our kids were at home...we never saw them!

I will work on having photos to include from now on...and some interesting topics. Probably a lot about weddings, marathons & pets.

Have a wonderful day everybody!
